Finished Film And Evaluation

Evaluation - The film started off as the story of a girl Robyn who was struggling with mental issues but then followed a girl Delilah who looked happy and at peace one was wearing depressing black clothes and the other a colorful outfit, Robyn would follow Delilah every day and watch her being creative and expressing herself and it turns out that Delilah is just a figment of Robyn's imagination and she would turn into Delilah wearing her outfit and doing the creative things. When we had done the original shots we realized how bad they looked due to bad planning and execution, As well as the fact that we didn't know how to use the camera properly so didn't format the SD card and kept getting the recording stop in the middle ruining some of our shots. We then changed the script of the movie so that Robyn would still see Delilah at the train station but would follow her and murder her with the twist being that she would return to the train station to see the dead Delilah e

FADE IN: INT. A GIRLS BEDROOM – MORNING    ROBYN wakes up and climbs out of bed whilst grumbling. She stumbles along her dark bedroom and goes to the bathroom and starts running the shower, and the room begins to steam up. INT. HALLWAY – MORNING Robyn puts on a black backpack over her black bomber jacket on top of a black hoodie accompanied with a black t-shirt, black ripped jeans and ties up the laces to her black walking boots. She exits the house. EXT. TOWN STREET – MIDDAY Robyn looks to the ground as she walks through the street passing various shops and cafes. She makes her way to the train station, but as she arrives, the train leaves the platform. She throws her head into her hands and sighs, looking up to the sky and brushing her hair behind her ear, looking around frustrated. - First shot, POV, opening eyes, looking around, heavy breathing with diegetic sounds - The POV shot can be used to show the audience the film through the eyes of one character this helps the audience become emotionally attached to the chacter and also more scared as it could seem as if they are directly in danger - long shots could be used to establish the scene and could for example put into perspective how derelict or deserted the place is - over the shoulder shots are some of the best for building tension as they add a lot of suspense. it is usualy used around mirrors and reflections so that the audience can see what's happening as soon as the character does, this is normaly used to show a figure stood behind a victim. - Zooms could be used to add to the dramatic effect and create the element of suspense and fear as you don't know what you are going to see next. - Low angle shots could be used to show how intimidating a villain or an object could be it also could make

Short film synopsis - Simon, a 17 year old student, who lacks educational ability and has found meaning in other aspects at school. Instead of bieng a hard worker, he mixes with students that are into drugs and violence resulting in poor attitude at home and in school, as well as dissapointing his mother. A mysterious event occurs, leaving simon injured and stumbling through an underpass where he is snatched by a group of lads, during the time he is kidnapped he expiriences multiple visions to some of the key events in his life that have shaped him into the person that he is and have led him to this set of events. but nothing is as it seems and the visions seem fragmented to simon. over the course of these visions, simon is alone in the back of a van bieng taken to an unknown location, where he belives he will come face to face with the man who met him. Suddenly the anticipation is over ad simon finds himself jolted upright in bed the next day
